Solar Powered Adaptive Container for Everyone
SPACE is an up-cycled international shipping container paired with a flexible solar panel rack system that holds 10 or 20 PV panels, and can fold up either for transport or extreme weather. With a strong colorful presence and clearly visible solar panel system, it is also an iconic billboard for sustainability. More than an icon, the SPACE is 100% self sufficient and zero impact on its site. Modular in nature, all components of the SPACE are fabricated offsite in manufacturing environments with virtually no waste, all the way down to the footings which use no concrete, are simply screwed into the ground enabling it to be moved to a new site when necessary.
